The final aspect to becoming better at a particular sport is to teach sports psychology. Even with kids, you can teach them about visualizing and staying calm in pressure situations. Teaching them various breathing techniques and having them visualize playing their sport in a positive way before they head to their game has been shown to have an enormous impact in sports. Much of it is athletic ability, but if you are not mentally trained too, you will not live up to your best potential.
