Buy Your Child A Giant Mountain Bike

Their models feature heavily in the world class competitions around the world with mountain bikers on every continent using Giant bikes during competition, training and their leisure riding. However Giant design bikes for the most amateur of bikers as well as world class experts. Kids of every ability can ride a Giant bike.
Kids can choose from two ranges of bike made specifically for children. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. For kids with a bit more experience there is a range of Giant bikes designed for fun and transport.
First Bike
For first time riders there are three bikes suitable for children. A tricycle in blue, pink, red or silver is designed for optimum safety and is called the L’il Giant. balance is aided with the training wheels and parents can keep some control over the bike with the back pole. The PUDD’N range are bikes for little girls with two models to choose from. There is a cute basket on the front, 16” wheels and removable training wheels on the original size bike. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The final model is the Animator range. This is the boy’s version of PUDD’N and is painted in much more masculine colours and the basket has been removed. There is a junior and original sized version available in the Animator range.
Sport Bikes
For children and teenagers who have some experience of riding a bike, Giant offers two different models, MTX and Taffy. The MTX comes in 125 and 225 versions with the former riding on 20” wheels and having 6 speed gears. The 225 version has wheels of 24 inches and 18 speed gears. Both models use a suspension fork and Alux aluminium technology frames. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. Like the MTX there is a 225 and a 125 series with the 125 having smaller wheels and fewer speed gears with the 225 having more gears and taller wheels.
