Tips On Baitcasters
May 29th, 2008 at 02:15 pm by FreshAire in Fishing Tips & AdviceUsing a baitcaster reel. Using a Baitcaster reel You might ask your self why is someone even writing about this, well it’s because if you want to step up your game when it comes to becoming a better fishermen then you will have to learn how to use a bait casters. You’ve seen the all the best fishermen use them and you have probably have a friend or two who have been telling you how they have increased their casting accuracy and are able to feel the fish better when they bite.
Every fishing expert who’s learned the techniques of using a bait casters will tell you that they have more control of where they put their lure, close to the shorelines, logs, or heavy cover. I know for myself it was a little difficult at first but with the right reel setting and practice you can learn to be a master baitcaster.
Getting down to the first step in becoming a maser baitcaster is holding the reel correctly. What your going to want to do is push the free spool button, hold the spool by your thumb and turn the rod sideways. So the handle is facing up. It might be a little uncomfortable at first but you will want to do this throughout the cast.
You will then need to release the line, but keep your thumb on the line with some tension as you go forward. The key here is to but just enough pressure so you don’t get the dreaded backlash of line. So keep the tension on the spool with your thumb as the lureis in the air. You will want to have enough speed so you get the lure where you want it to go without too much pressure.
The pressure is the most time consuming thing to understand and learn. Most baitcaster reels have centrifugal braking systems. It works kind of like a thumb on the line for you. Because the faster the line comes out of the spool then the more pressure is applied by the braking system. And if you turn the brake knob tightly and press the freespool button, the lure will not descend. So you will want turn the knob counter clockwise so you can see the lure start to fall. Play with this until you can get the lure in the right place. You want to have the lure fall nicely so you don’t have toyank your rod. It is always good to get used to the feel of the lures weight.
So with a little patience and a little practice you too can become a master bait caster. You will hit those hard to reach spots and be able to respond to fish faster then before. Check out Everydayfishing.com for baitcaster reel great deals on Bait caster reels

The Reasons My Version Of ratings of coffee maker is used on the purchase of martin fishing reel
May 10th, 2008 at 03:36 am by FreshAire in Fishing Tips & AdviceI guess the very thing that you would be interested to know, would be the kind of Ratings Of Coffee Maker that I does. Well, let’s just say that it is not the numbers and figures, but the experience in drinking coffee that I am interested in.
Good coffee doesn’t need to be brewed from Coffee Machines and I feel that there are no such things such as best coffee makers but there are best coffee. And the the variables that defines this best coffee is in the experience.
So, ratings on coffee makers to me should measure how much you enjoy that coffee. Here is a litmus paper test, how you rate the coffee that you have from the very good miele Coffee Machines , the coffee that needs to sustain you through the night to complete the project, which you need to submit a few hours later.
I don’t know about you, but to me such a cup of coffee could not be better tasting than say a cup of coffee dispense from a vending machine while you are holidaying in Hakone, Japan, right beside Mount Fuji.
And that is how I go about doing Ratings Of Coffee Maker and choosing Coffee Machines, and I would go along the same line in choosing Martin Fishing Reel.
Oh, and one more thing, I do not really trust those surveys and voting online on fly fishing reel from martin or for that matters, any products because, I always have this nagging feeling that it can be staged.
Which is why, I go around asking the fly fishers on their experience with Martin Fishing Reel , on how it assist them or if they have enjoyed the fly fishing experience. If you are asking me why I stick to Martin Fishing Reel, this is because I have seen it displayed in some artifact museum, it was first developed in the late 1800’s.
Then, I thought, if this Martin Fishing Reel can survived more than a century of usage by fly fishers, then this fly fishing reel must have some merit that appeal to folks for so many years, so it must be a good reel…
I guess in this age where solution should be fast and to some instant, asking for feedback and using testimonials as a benchmark to assess if a product is good, has been a painfully slow process.
There you have it. If you are looking for a good fly fishing experience with Martin Fishing Reel, or even good coffee experience then it would be wise to invest some time to ask for people’s opinions…

Best Bass Fishing Lure – How To Select The Best Bass Fishing Lure
January 24th, 2008 at 04:30 pm by FreshAire in Fishing, Fishing Tips & AdviceThere’s no doubt confidence and luck plays a major part in a successful bass fishing trip but using the right equipment is vitally important.
From the rod to the line to choosing the best bass fishing lure, without the right tools then you are going to fail to “hit the board” more often than not. The advancing technology in fishing equipment continues to grow at an ever-increasing rate yet a combination of the old and new can often produce the best results.
Let’s face it, with the type of technology available now, one could almost guide a fish onto a hook and then ask it to make it’s way into the boat or onto shore. But where’s the fun and sport in that.
Best Bass Fishing Lure
The lure is often overlooked as one of the prime attraction factors in man’s battle with bass. Choosing the best bass fishing lure isn’t as important as choosing the best lure for the occasion.
What types of bait can you use fishing bass? Here’s a shortlist:
- spinnerheads
- worm hangers
- shaking jig worm heads
- skirts
- power fishing jigs
These are just a few of the fishing lures available. The problem with many anglers is which one to select? Personal choice will play a big part but in the end. it comes down to choosing a specific lure for a specific job.
There are advancements in the skirts on lures, which are the holographic or “sparkly” portions on a fishing lure. Normally, a skirt should be colorful as this will attract a whole lot of bass to your vessel and to your waiting hook.
The best bass fishing lure will always have a good mix of color and style to keep the bass guessing until the last minute. After that, all bets are off and that bass is up and in the boat ready to be weighed, measured and sent back to his friends in the water.
Too many anglers can waste precious time deciding on the best bass fishing lure. Come down your analyzation by assessing the conditions and the location and then matching the right equipment for the job. If you take your fishing seriously, then you’ll have a variety of different lures to choose from in your fishing kit.

Bass Fishing Video – Making Fishing Video For Profit!
January 16th, 2008 at 06:10 pm by FreshAire in Fishing, Fishing Tips & AdviceEver thought of making your own bass fishing video? The idea probably has crossed the minds of most anglers; for starters, proving you actually did wrestle with that big one before it got away.
The reality is however, bass fishing video has the potential to not only help you improve your techniques but can make you money along the way. Fishing is one of the biggest participation activities in the world and anglers are always hungry for this information.
This angle of course will appeal to those with an entrepreneurial spirit. Most of us will be on the “other side of the fence” and that is, we’ll be looking for a bass fishing video simply to sharpen one’s skills as an angler.
Instruction By Video
The truth is, there is no shortage of instructional videos on fishing. It’s an ever burgeoning market and combined with the many fishing shows on television, anglers have never had it so good.
One question which seems to get asked a lot is why do these guys making the videos always seem to land a big fish on cue? You’ve got to realize that a half hour video may take several days to shoot.
Making your own instructional bass fishing video can be a lot of fun. A few friends, some beverages, proper equipment, a boat, and a camera and you’re all set.
The essence of shooting any video is getting people to want to watch it, so you need an “angle” to help shooting your angling video. Make it exciting, fresh and new and people will flock to rent your angling video when it hits the shelves.
As far as markets are concerned, fishing offers a huge opportunity to brand yourself as an expert. However, if your bass fishing video is going to be much of the same then you may struggle to get interest in it. You’ll need to put your own spin on it; essentially brand yourself and produce something a little unique.

Cautions When Deep Sea Fishing
August 31st, 2007 at 06:48 pm by FreshAire in Fishing Tips & Advice, Salt Water FishingDeep sea fishing is a sport that is not for everyone. But for others who take the time to have a deep sea fishing experience, it can be quite rewarding. After all, for some this is like the snowboarding of the fishing world – the “extreme sport.” The adrenaline rush you get as you pull that swordfish or marlin over the side of the boat is unmatched by any other experience.
Before you decide to go on a deep sea fishing expedition, you should consider a few things to determine whether or not this type of activity is a good idea for you. For example, you may not be cut out for deep sea fishing if you tend to get motion sickness easily. If you are unsure of how well you can handle the waves of the open water, try an inexpensive, short excursion first to test your sea legs. Usually you can charter a one or two hour ride offshore that will take you out a mile or so to experience the feeling of the ocean so you can make your determination if you can handle the waves.
When deep sea fishing, you will be in a location where land is not in sight, so you will need to determine if that bothers you. Often, when you get out to sea about ten miles or more, you lose sight of the shoreline. If this thought frightens you, deep sea fishing may not be your sport and you may want to consider a different type of fishing activity. The deep sea where the biggest fish can be caught will only be in a location that is far from the coastline.
Another consideration for deep sea fishing is the amount of time you will be in the sun. You will be in direct sunlight that is also bouncing back at you off the glassy water surface. This could be putting you at risk for sunburn. There is usually no cover from the heat that will be beating down on you all day. It is true that most charter boats have cabins in which you can find shelter from the sun, however, you can’t fish from inside. You may want to reconsider making the trip if you are fair skinned or sunburn easily or are especially susceptible to dehydration or heat stroke. If you do decide to go, whether or not you expect to be affected by these ailments, take with you strong SPF sunblock, a hat, and plenty of water. Charters will usually provide water for you as well, but take your own also.
If you are prepared, deep sea fishing can be the thrill of a lifetime. Don’t be put off by the special considerations that must be taken into account. Simply be cautious and be prepared, but go out and enjoy yourself!
